Diary of a WW2 Evacuated Mother, in England

For the past 3 years I have been interviewing Guernsey evacuees who fled their island in June 1940 just prior to the German Occupation of their island. 
I am currently writing a book on the Guernsey Evacuation for The History Press, but have also used these interviews to create a `1940 Guernsey Evacuee Mother’s daily diary’ 
I update it almost every day to highlight some of the experiences thousands of Guernsey’s adult and child evacuees went through in 1940, in their evacuation to mainland Britain.
